Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 [1] is an American actress. Most well-known are her role in George Lopez (2002 - 2007) and Marcela Quitanilla (mother Selena) in Selena (1997). She portrayed Regina Vasquez in the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-2017). She is currently in Camila Diaz, the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (1999). Marie began her acting career in her teens. In 1988 she scored the role of Salsa. Other credits in film and television include Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, Selena, Spin City, and Ally McBeal. Marie was picked for the part of Angie Lopez in the ABC comedy series George Lopez. Marie was the main character in 2001's comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. She was also a part of the PBS drama American Family. In the month of October, 2007, she started her own clothing linecalled "The Constance Marie Collection". 2] She was featured in an ad by PETA in which they urged people to spay and neuter their pets. In the years 2011 through 2017 Marie was the main character in the drama series ABC Family/Freeform Switched at Birth, portraying Regina Vasquez, the birth mother of one of the girls , and also the legal mother of the other.
