Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered among the best athletes. Biles was the only U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the sole gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games at the 2016 Olympics. She is also the first person to win three consecutive world championships. Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone was first drawn to the sport of gymnastics when she was just 6. Her coach Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went for an outing. Biles earned a silver in vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to competitions at the elite level in the year 2011. She dominated her sport within a mere two years. Biles was notable for her constant performance her enthusiasm and level of difficulty that she included in each event--vault bar, uneven bars, balance beam and ground exercises.
